A ₦5 million reward has been announced for the return of Nigerian music superstar Wizkid’s missing phone, which reportedly fell during his surprise performance at the Nativeland concert in Lagos.
The incident occurred on Saturday night at Sol Beach, Elegushi, where Wizkid thrilled fans with an energetic performance. DJ Tunez, Wizkid’s official DJ, informed the crowd about the mishap, saying, “While my brother Wizkid was performing, his phone dropped. Anybody who finds Wizkid’s phone, there’s ₦5 million waiting.”
DJ Tunez also took to X (formerly Twitter) to appeal for help, posting: “Please if you find Machala’s phone hit me up! Thank you!”
Controversy at Nativeland Concert
The Nativeland concert, featuring several top artists, faced additional challenges when the stage partially collapsed during a performance by rapper Odumodublvck. Videos circulating online showed panicked attendees fleeing as equipment fell, raising concerns about safety protocols at the event.
