Youth Foundation Donates Drugs, Consumables to 2 PHCs, IDPs

Youth Organization under the umbrella of Bellah Foundation based in Bauchi has donated drugs and consumables to two Primary health facilities PHCs, and IDPs to alleviate the suffering of less privileged attending the facilities in Bauchi.
The Coordinator of the Foundation Comrade Daure David Yankoli, disclosed this during the presentation of the drugs to officer in charge of Tashan Babaye Primary health care in Bauchi Metropolis yesterday, saying the gesture is part of given back to the society what you have.
He said “We are here to donates drugs to two health facilities of Tashan Babaye and PHC Yelwan tudu and IDPs to help the less privileged alleviate their suffering in the neighborhood, looking at the number of people that attend those facilities regularly so we feel this is the right time for us in the foundation to give back to the society”
Explaining the drugs donated Comrade David said we donates, antibiotics, anti malaria drugs, typhoid respiratory tract infection, drugs for pregnant and nursing women, headache iodine, general first aid that worth 500,000, and carried out fumigation in many communities within the metropolis considering the raining season and treat to malaria”
Mr Daure also appealed to the authorities to make good use of the drugs donated to the facilities to assist the needles in the communities.
He further explained that through such medical assistance and the gesture the communities would have sense of belonging especially the IDPs “and that will also cement cordial relationship between the host citizens and the IDPs.
On funding the foundation, The David Daure who is also the President of Bauchi South Youth coalition said their funding come through contributions among members and Philanthropists Alhaji Kabiru Salau who have been a strong supporter of the foundation.
Expressing his appreciation on behalf of the community Mallam Jika said “what the the foundation is doing today; reaching us medically and giving free drugs is good for our cooperate existence especially making it possible for the commoners to benefits from the drugs.
“I am happy because the Bellah foundation came voluntarily on their own to assist the community, gave free drugs to members of the community who could not afford medical fees in private and public hospitals”.
On her part, Mrs Lydia Simon Yelwa expressed her appreciation about the quality of the drugs donated.“This is not the first time they are distributing drugs to communities and I like the way the foundation is reaching out to us through Primary Health Care, It helps us a great deal especially knowing our blood pressure level and given free drugs.

Pius Akutah’s Alleged Fraud at Nigerian Shippers Council Uncovered
Investigations by Nigerian Concord Newspaper reveal that the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Mr. Pius Akutah, has allegedly misappropriated public funds for a lavish lifestyle.
According to our findings, within months of assuming office, Akutah allegedly purchased a bulletproof SUV valued at approximately N850 million. In addition, he is reported to have acquired over twenty exotic SUVs for use as a convoy.
Akutah is also said to have acquired multiple high-value properties, including three in Abuja’s Maitama and Asokoro districts worth over N2 billion, and two in Lagos’ Banana Island valued at N1.8 billion. These acquisitions appear far beyond the scope of his official salary and allowances.
Further investigation suggests that Akutah may be using public funds to support political ambitions, including allegedly grooming militants across 23 local government areas in Benue State for a potential 2027 gubernatorial bid.
Staff of the Shippers Council reportedly claim that Akutah frequently accesses the council’s treasury without proper authorization. Some insiders have indicated that a petition will soon be filed with the EFCC, ICPC, and the Presidency to report his alleged misconduct.
