Impressed by his philanthropic gesture towards the vulnerable, a political pressure group under the aeges of Concern Muri Youth Mandate have declared their support for Hon. Nuruddeen Abubakar Ibrahim, APC House of Reps Candidate for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency in Taraba State.

The group, led by Malam Usman Umar, who declared their support shortly after an emergency solidarity meeting in Jalingo on Monday, identified Hon. Ibrahim as a dogged politician who, if voted to power will alleviate the sufferings of the people of the Federal Constituency.

Umar declared that the group’s decision to support Hon. Nuruddeen Abubakar Ibrahim was born out of his continuous gesture towards the less privileged in the society and his zeal to impact positively on the lives of the people of the Constituency.

The group is optimistic that Hon. Ibrahim will come out victorious after the judgement of the pending court case filed, by Hon. Kasimu Maigari at the Federal High Court Jalingo.

The group advised Hon. Kasimu Maigari, the current Member representing the Federal Constituency to withdraw his court case against the candidature of Hon. Ibrahim at the Federal High court Jalingo in the interest of the party and the people of the Federal Constituency.

” We gave our mandate and support to Hon. Maigari in 2019, he did not represent us, the people of the Federal Constituency well, now we feel Hon. Nuruddeen Abubakar Ibrahim is the better alternative and we are ready to support him “. Umar said.

Umar said Hon. Ibrahim has always supported Women and Youths from the Federal Constituency to be self-reliant and employers of labour through his numerous employment programmes and if elected he will do more for the his people.

The group further described Hon. Nuruddeen Abubakar Ibrahim as a bridge builder that can deliver the dividends of democracy for the people of the Federal Constituency.

“We, therefore, urge youth, men, women, religious and traditional associations across Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency to come forward and rally round Hon. Nuruddeen Abubakar Ibrahim to ensure he emerged as our representative come 2023.” said the group.
