2025 Direct Entry Registration Still Ongoing, Not Closing April 7 – JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has dispelled rumours that the 2025 Direct Entry (DE) registration will close on Monday, April 7, 2025.

In a statement issued on Saturday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board clarified that the registration, which commenced on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, remains open until an official closing date is announced.

“Candidates who wish to register can still do so at any of the Board’s designated Professional Registration Centres (PRCs),” JAMB stated.

The board explained that the flexible registration window is to allow time for the conclusion of investigations into candidates allegedly using fake A-Level results to register.

JAMB further cautioned against the use of fraudulent credentials, stating:

“Candidates with questionable credentials should refrain from registering. The Board has put measures in place to detect such attempts now and in the future.”

The statement also warned individuals who had previously gained admission using fake results, urging them to withdraw voluntarily as ongoing investigations will now include already admitted students.

JAMB reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the admissions process across all institutions.
