I just watched a statistic by African Television channel that showed African continent provide a large amount of mineral resources to the world. The statistic displayed 10 African countries richest in terms of Uranium, Gold, Tanzanium, Cement and Platinum among others.

Niger Republic is the richest country in terms of Uranium, cements and two other minerals that i can’t remember, Niger has 44% of world’s uranium provides by Africa.
Namibia, Tanzania, South Africa and Ghana are in the list of the top 10.
Ghana provide largest amount of Gold to the world than any country in Africa.

Despite all these wonderful and positive record from Africa, it’s countries are the most backward, underdeveloped and relegated countries in the world, Western hegemony turn these countries into their slaves and exploit their resources. African leaders rely on West, most of these resources are taken to West for their development while the origin of the resources is still in darkness and undeveloped.
Most of African premiere Universities have less important despite the quality education as they only give abundant theory with less practice contrary to Western own.

I don’t know when should Africans wake from their deep slumber and begin to develop their own region and transform it to better Continent.
