Dr. Haruna Garus Gololo, an All progressive Congress ( APC), Chieftain, former Coordinator of the Tinubu/ Shettima Presidential Campaign, in the North East, Nigeria has described Baba Ahmed and members of the Northern Elders Forum ( NEF) , as disgrace and blackmailers , whose stock in trade is to blackmail every successful leadership in Nigeria, for pecuniary gains.
The political activist cum All progressive Congress ( APC), made the declarations on Tuesday, in Abuja in an interview with selected journalists according to him
” Hakeem Baba- Ahmed, the Spokesperson of the NEF has finally eaten the humble pie. He is a disgrace to the entire North and Northerners, he has self esteem. This was a man who claimed he was leading the Northern Elders, even though it was too glaring he was looking for what to eat. He threw jibes at the All progressive Congress, insulted the Presidential Candidate of the Party, now president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but he suddenly lost his voice because he was expecting the crumbs from the masters table’
Gololo made this known when reacting to the appointment of Hakeem Baba- Ahmed, as the Special Adviser on political matters in the office of the Vice President.
Baba Ahmed made the announcement in a post on his official x account on Monday .
He wrote ” It is time to make it public that I have accepted the call to serve as Special Adviser ( political), to the VP. This is no time for criticisms, when you can be useful in turning the Country around . I m honored and humbled, please pray for me and Nigeria ”
But the former Coordinator of the presidential Campaign North East, said that ” indeed need prayers, haven’t served as permanent secretary, chairman of Independent Electoral Commission, in Kaduna , but the only thing he could do is to join the group of Shehu Sani, Daniel Bwala and other hungry activists in search for appointment, by criticizing and insulting leaders to gain attention, he indeed need prayers ”
The renown political activist, Gololo further stated that” it is only in the North this can happen”
” Daniel Bwala, has been moving from one party to the other, from APC to PDP, because he is looking for appointment and it is not forthcoming, he retort to blackmail, that if any thing happens to him the presidency should be held responsible ”
” In APC we don’t kill, nobody is even taking him serious , of what value is Bwala?”
” He is moving from one Television House to the other search of attention, if he is afraid of prison, he should tread with caution ‘
” We are use to their antics some members of the Northern Elder Forum, who could not get former president Buhari to appoint their son as Chief security officer, turned the heat on the government” he said
