The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris welcomes partnership with the House Committee on religious affairs of the Bauchi State House of Assembly (BAHA) to ensure welfare of the Bauchi state intending pilgrims.
Imam Abdurrahman was speaking when the delegation from BAHA a house Committe on religious affairs paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
Imam Abdurrahman was overwhelmed with the visit, He said “we always appreciates a partnership between us and we will do our best to provide you with necessary support to achieve a goal”
He noted that House Committee on religious affairs from BAHA has done a lot in the past towards providing solution to problems that led to effective Hajj management in Bauchi State.
Imam Abdurrahman emphasized that his Board will continue to reciprocate the gesture and then assured full support of his management to the success of the House Committee.
In his speech the Chairman House Committee on religious affairs of the BAHA, Hon. Abubakar Adamu Salihu a member representing Giade said the visit aimed at to unveil the members of the committee to the Board and seek for a mutual and existing cooperation with the Board.
Hon Abubakar Salihu pledged a readiness of his committee to support in the formulation of good policies geared towards ensuring a wellbeing of the Bauchi State Pilgrims.
In another development the Executive Secretary *Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris has been conferred with the Integrity Icon of Nigeria (I.I.O.N)* and also bags Corporate Ethics and Integrity Compliance Awards of excellence from the National Centre for ethics and self -value orientation.
The Centre also presented a commendation letters to the principal Officers of the Board for their outstanding professional ethics Compliance/ quality public Service delivery in the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board administration.

Speaking on behalf of himself and the recipients of the commendation letters, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris appreciated the organisers for finding them worthy of the ethics Compliance and quality service delivery to humanity.
He described the I.I.O.N conferred to him, award and commendation letters presented to his officers as a call to more service to humanity, stressed that the recipients will reciprocate the gesture by redadicating themselves to service.
Presenting the Integrity Icon of Nigeria to the Executive Secretary, the Executive Director of the Centre, Ethicist (Prince) Salih Musa Yakubu said the Centre is an international anti-corruption Non Governmental organization that majored in exposing corruption, providing ethical leadership and self- value orientation of citizens.
Prince Salih used that occasion to congratulate the Executive Secretary for well deserved honor and other recipients of the commendation, challenged them to do more to humanity.
The beneficiaries of the commendation letters included: Director administration and human resources of the Board, Director Finance and Account, Direction Operation, Director Education and Enlightenment and the Information officer.
