During his visit to Nigeria, American business mogul Bill Gates shared his youngest daughter’s excitement about the possibility of him meeting Nigerian music stars Burna Boy and Rema. Gates mentioned this during his opening address at an event in Lagos State. He expressed his daughter’s enthusiasm, stating that she sees it as a privilege for him to witness performances by popular Nigerian artists. Gates also recalled his previous visit to Nigeria, where he had the opportunity to see Davido and Wizkid perform. The philanthropist praised the creativity and influence of Afrobeats music from Nigeria. Gates’ visit, along with Aliko Dangote, to President Bola Tinubu was part of the Gates Foundation’s commitment to collaborating with communities and leaders to promote innovation.
