Pregnant woman dies aboard Arik Air flightBarely 72 hours after an Etihad female passengerdied inside a toilet at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport,Lagos, a 39-year-old pregnant woman died today (Friday) on an Arik Air PortHarcourt-Lagos flight .National Trail learnt that the woman,whose name was given as Ijeoma (Okedi) was billed to travel to the UniversityCollege Teaching Hospital (UCTH), Ibadan for treatment.She was said to have had healthcomplications mid air, and was attended to by medical personnel who were alsopassengers before she died. Confirming the development, spokesman forArik Air, Mr. Adebanji Ola said: “A female passenger on board Arik Air’s PortHarcourt-Lagos flight was confirmed dead on arrival this morning by medicalpersonnel at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Domestic Terminal 1, Ikeja, Lagos.“The lady boarded the flight from PortHarcourt in company of her husband and cousin.
