CDC to Kwarans: Collaborate with security agencies by exposing criminal elements in your midst

The Kwara state Community Development Council (CDC) has enjoined the people of the state to collaborate with the security agencies by offering useful information that can lead to the arrest of criminal and undesirable elements living among them.

According to the Administrative Secretary of CDC, Oluwagbamila Oluwadamilare, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has shown that though the criminals may run, there is no hiding place for them in the State.

He said: “This proactive approach of the Governor to security matters in the State aligns with our position, and this is the more reason we call on well meaning Kwarans to support the efforts of the governor at stamping out all forms of crime and criminality in the State.

“We are aware that, about two weeks ago, the government of Kwara State established a joint military patrol around the Kwara South corridor where the kidnappers were running riot. The effort is not only yielding results but also strengthening confidence building amongst the locals and residents in our various communities.

“It therefore behoves all patriotic Kwarans to expose criminals in their communities and neighborhoods as the security agencies are busy combing our hinterlands day and night in search of these unscrupulous people so that we can all be safe.”
