Commission applaudes Umoh’s appointment as new Country Director for CBM global

The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) has applauded the appointment of Ms. Ekaete Umoh, as the new Country Director of Christian Blind Mission (CBM) global.This is contained in a statement by Mr JohnMichael Mbanefo, Head, Media and Publicity of the commission, issued to newsmen on Saturday in Abuja.According to the statement, the commission further lauded Umoh for the feat, adding that, the appointment accentuated her leadership qualities.It noted that Mr James Lalu, Executive Secretary of the commission described the appointment as well deserved, in view of Umoh’s experience as President of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD).Lalu in the statement underscored the resilience, doggedness and leadership qualities of the newly appointed CBM Country Director for Nigeria and described her as an amazon of the PWDs community.The executive secretary then wished Umoh many more laurels in her future endeavours, adding that, she would forever remain an ambassador for PWDs across the country and beyond.
