The Sokoto State Governor Dr Ahmad Aliyu has urged the Commissioners in the State to wake up and face the challenges a head of their Ministries for the progress of the State.

The Governor made the remarks while meeting with the Commissioners at a Maiden State Executive Council Meeting held at the Council Chamber Government House Sokoto.

He stated that, the aim of the executive council meeting is to discuss issues affecting the state ,therefore they are required to give updates of the various Ministries at any time.

The Governor then urged the commissioners to be dedicated to duties” you are reminded that the Government would not tolerate any lapses on your part, therefore you must be ready to approach the Government on issues affecting the ministries”.

He assured of the State Government commitment to cooprate with them at all times and charged them to contribute positively for the development of the State.
