Comrade Kasimu appointed SA Education/Students’ Affairs

Comrade Abdullahi Idrisu Kasimu has been appointed as Special Assistant on Education and Students’ Affairs by Hon. Ahmed Abubaka Ndagene, representing Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency of Kwara state in the House of Representatives.

In an appointment letter issued to him penultimate Friday, the new appointee is expected to assist the Honourable Member in addressing educational matters, students’ affairs, special initiatives and other special assignments in his constituency.

Comrade Kasimu was the immediate past National President, National Association of University Students (NAUS) and had also served in different students and youth organisations, including the National Youth Council of Nigeria. He is a graduate of History and International Relations with vast experience in special diplomacy, community and youth development, education, among others.

The new appointee, who speaks English, Arabic, Hausa, Yoruba and Nupe languages fluently, is expected to bring to the fore his enormous experience in sociopolitical and socioeconomic matters in discharging his new mandate.
