CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY : ASHARAMI ENERGY COMMISSIONS PROJECTS AT KOKO

Asharami Energy, through Sahara Group Foundation (SGF), has commissioned some projects it executed in its host community of Koko, Warri North Local Government Area.

The projects included the construction of a two room office building, newly renovated Koko Police Station and a solar powered installation as part of the company’s social corporate responsibility.

Speaking during the commissioning, the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Wale Abass, represented by ACP Abubakar Idris , Sapele Area Command, appreciated the company for the gesture and promised the company that the commissioned projects would be well maintained and utilised properly.

He however requested that the same gesture be replicated across other security agencies.

The representative and Director of Sustenance and Government of Sahara Group , Mrs Ejiro Gray, stated that the projects were executed in appreciation of a peaceful and enabling operational environment, provided by the community.

She further pledged that the company would do more in the area.

The Koko Community Management Authority (KCMA), Chairman, Mr. David Onyeburutan, on his part, requested the company to carry out such projects in other security agencies in the area.

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Koko Police Station, CSP Leonard Offordile , thanked the company for executing the projects and noted that it had changed the face of the station and also provided an enabling environment for officers to operate.
