Dogara urges Tinubu to combat subsidy cabals and hold them accountable

Former Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, calls on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to show courage in fighting subsidy cabals and holding them accountable. Dogara commends the President for the removal of fuel subsidy, but emphasizes the need to recover looted funds from the subsidy cabals. He expresses his support during a Thanksgiving church service in Kaduna, marking the completion of Rev. Yunusa S. Nmadu Jnr’s tenure as ECWA General Secretary.

Dogara praises President Tinubu for demonstrating leadership qualities and urges him to pursue the subsidy cabals, ensuring the recovery of stolen funds and their prosecution. He also acknowledges the President’s inclusive approach in appointing Service chiefs from various regions, regardless of party, ethnicity, or religion.

Senator Sunday Marshal Katung, representing Southern Kaduna, applauds President Tinubu for the equitable and just appointment of the new Service chiefs. He urges the Service chiefs to address the country’s security challenges, particularly in the northern region, and calls on the President to provide palliatives to mitigate the impact of fuel subsidy removal.

Rev. Dr. Stephen Baba Panya, the ECWA President and Vice President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), commends President Tinubu for removing fuel subsidy and appointing Service chiefs. He acknowledges the President’s deliberate efforts to avoid lopsided appointments seen in previous administrations.
