Election: PDP chieftain congratulates Ikpeazu, urges Otti, Ogah to shun litigation

Mr Robert Martins, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bende Local Government Area, Abia has congratulated the Abia Gov. Dr Okezia Ikpeazu on his re-election victory.

Martins made congratulation in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja

He described PDP’s victory in the state as the true reflection of the wishes of the people and called on opposition to join hand with the Ikpeazu in building the state.

He also congratulated the state House of Assembly member-elect for Bende South Constituency, Chief Emmanuel Ndubuisi, on the platform of PDP.

Martins, however, enjoined Alex Otti, the governorship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Dr Uche Ogah, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to sheathe their swords and shun any form of litigation.

He added that the litigation would not only linger the healing process the people of Abia desperately needed, but further prolong the unifying process in the state.

The PDP chieftain urged all sons and daughters of the state to join hands with the governor to build the state into an enviable position in the country.
