Barely two weeks after Ogbe-Ijaw Market in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area, was razed down by fire, chains of stalls belonging to traders in Mciver Market, which is a spitting distance from Ogbe-Ijaw Market, was razed down this morning
Goods and property worth millions of naira were destroyed during the incident.
It was gathered that the fire started in the early hours of Monday morning but eye witnesses could not confirm the exact time it started

Traders who were affected by the inferno lamented that all their lives’ savings were gone, especially in this dwindling economy, they called on the state government to come to their rescue and help rebuild the market.
