“Golden Jubilee Estates: A New Era for Housing Across Six Zones.”

The Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has unveiled its ambitious plans to establish Golden Jubilee Estates in all six geopolitical regions of Nigeria. This announcement came during the 50th anniversary celebration of the FHA, where the Golden Jubilee logo was introduced by the CEO, Gbenga Ashafa, in Abuja. The project kickstarted at the Mbora District in the Federal Capital Territory and is set to involve numerous companies through a Public Sector Partnership. Spanning a 24-month timeline, this 20,000-unit housing initiative aims to provide residents an opportunity to own homes through a “rent to own” model. Drawing parallels to the long-standing Festac town in Lagos, Ashafa emphasized FHA’s enduring commitment to housing quality and affordability. The celebration also paid tribute to those who’ve been instrumental in FHA’s half-century legacy of impacting housing in Nigeria.
