The Hope Arewa Development Initiative (HADI) said it has uncovered hidden gems in the outgoing Secretary to Katsina State Government, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, now a ministerial nominee, noting that his journey so far, has always paved way for extraordinary visions of progress and development.

While noting that “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration stands at the crossroads of history with a golden opportunity to harness Nigeria’s true potential, Aliyu said “HADI Initiative strongly believes that among the esteemed ministerial nominees, one name shines bright—Arch Ahmed Dagiwa, the Secretary to Katsina State Government. Together, they can unlock Nigeria’s boundless potential and shape a brighter future for all.”
Describing the former FMBN Boss as a champion of change, a great and true political blazer, the Chairman of HADI Initiative said:
“Dangiwa’s unwavering commitment to public service goes beyond his tenure as Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria. During the APC Gubernatorial primaries, where he contested against Governor Radda but lost, his dedication and unshakable spirit of sportsmanship was unfolded when he accepted to be Radda’s Campaign Director-General. He left no stone unturned in the pursuit of progress which is now à testament of his resolute belief in transforming Nigeria for the better.
“Also, when he was called upon to serve as Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, Dangiwa, exemplifying the hallmark of a true leader, gracefully embraced the role, serving with an unwavering commitment to the betterment of the people and the nation.
“In his two-month stint as the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State (SGS), together with Governor Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda, they laid the cornerstone for the future agenda of the new government and they embarked on a mission to rebuild and reshape the state’s destiny, propelling it towards a brighter tomorrow.
“With divine inspiration guiding his path, Dangiwa displayed unwavering passion, hope, and foresight, which ultimately culminated in achieving remarkable feats for the people.”
According to Aliyu, while Dangiwa was at the helm of affairs of FMBN, he built a brighter future and left a legacy of empowerment and a flourishing cooperative housing sector for Nigerians.
“Dangiwa’s tenure as the Managing Director of FMBN witnessed a groundbreaking revolution in the housing sector with the National Housing Funds (NHF) Collection reaching an unparalleled milestone of N500 billion from the previous N232.8 billion over 25 years. Under his watch also, NHF Refunds surged to an impressive N50 billion from N10.8 billion, another testament to Dangiwa’s exceptional leadership.
“Still, under his watch, the Mortgage Bank disbursed an astounding N163 billion in just five years in Housing Loans, surpassing the cumulative N152 billiion over 25 years. This remarkable feat empowered countless Nigerians to realize their dreams of homeownership, making houses accessible and affordable for all.
“Dangiwa’s influence extended beyond loans and funds; he introduced innovative Rent To Own Mortgage Products with zero percent equity contribution and reduced interest rates at seven percent to facilitate home ownership. He empowered contributors with individual construction loans, enabling them to build their dream homes to their taste.
“Under Dangiwa’s mastermind, the cooperative housing sector thrived, leading to the creation of 5,000 Housing units for 160 corporate bodies across Nigeria. His commitment to inclusive growth and development knows no bounds,” Aliyu said.
