A sociocultural group, Yoruba Ronu Leadership Forum, has urged the people of Kwara State to give Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq a second term of office so as to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

The group, in a statement signed by its President, Akin Malaolu, said it is delighted about the achievements of AbdulRazaq.

“We feel happy about the achievements of this sincere Governor of the state and we urge the people of Kwara State to ensure continuity of this progressive man who devoted his time and available resources to put the State back into a movement towards speedy recovery,” it added.

The group stated that it got more than enough to make its decision to endorse AbdulRaszaq for a second term of office.

It noted that AbdulRazaq has displayed an uncommon determination and tenacity of purpose, exemplified by good governance with people-oriented policies geared towards uplifting the critical mass of the Kwara people.

“We have also noticed positive changes away from the past narratives of locust years when hardships were the most common ailments in the whole of Kwara State.

“Today, massive transformations are most noticeable in many sectors of human development, including education, l health, roads, commerce/trade, agriculture, poverty alleviation, youth empowerment, provision of social amenities like potable water, prompt payment of minimum wage, pension and gratuity, sports and security.

“These variables are known economic factors necessary for the growth of mankind in their various endeavours and at the end they all will add up to national efficiency and an increase in gross domestic products (GDP),” the forum stated.
