KWARMA will deliver on its mandate, says Chairman

The newly appointed Board Chairman for the Kwara State Road Maintenance Agency (KWARMA), Hon. Bolakale Oloje, has sought an effective collaborative working relationship with the management and staff of the Agency to enable the Agency deliver on its mandate to the people.

Hon. Oloje, during his maiden meeting with the Agency’s management and staff, admonished them to fasten their belt and be set for another round of high level commitment and display of professionalism towards delivering standard road maintenance and renovations to the people across the state
The Chairman, who pledged his total commitment to taking KWARMA to the best level during his tenure, sought the management’s and entire staff’s unalloyed cooperation and support to make this dream a reality.
Hon. kale expressed profound appreciation to Governor AbdulRasaq for his appointment, assuring him and the people of the state that he would justify the confidence reposed in him.
While receiving the Chairman, the State Commissioner for works, Engr. Suleiman Rotimi Iliasu, expressed satisfaction with the appointment of the Chairman and assured him of unflinching support for an enhanced road maintenance culture across the state.
Engr.Rotimi also commended the giant strides of Governor AbdulRazak’s administration, particularly for its prompt approvals and release of funds to carry out the road maintenance/road renovations through direct labour as being witnessed across the state.
In his welcome remarks, the General Manager of the Agency, Engr. Usman Baba Jibril, described the appointment of the chairman as a round peg in a round hole, expressing the confidence of a harmonious working relationship with the chairman from a “dedicated management team and a workaholic set of Operational Engineers.”
Engr. Jibril also gave kudos to Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq for his positive transformational initiatives of touching the lives of Kwarans through road construction, renovations and road maintenance across the State
The Secretary of the agency, Mr Amos Tunde Thompson also assured the Chairman of unalloyed support, loyalty, and display of high level professionalism by the agency’s Operational Engineers
Mr Amos also assured the State Government of quality/standard road maintenance across the State.

Engr.
