Nasarawa Gov Dissolves Cabinet Sacks other Political Appointees

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, on Monday dissolved the state executive council.

Engineer Sule announced the dissolution at a special executive council meeting, which held at the Government House.

The governor equally announced the sack of his Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants, except for those on essential or humanitarian services and sustainable development goals.

Governor Sule, used the opportunity to thank the appointees for their commitment and services rendered to the administration, stressing that his administration will continue to count on their support in the future.
He equally stressed the need for continued collaboration with those who may succeed them in office, so that government programmes are seamlessly pursued.
Responding on behalf of the former appointees, Associate Professor Abdukarim Abubakar, who until now was the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, thanked the governor for giving them the opportunity to serve the state and his administration.

Associate Professor Kana assured the governor of their continued support ahead of the 2023 general election.
