NDLEA Intercepts 140.7 KG Of Cannabis Sativa In Borno

***Arrests Two Suspects

After weeks of Surveillance, following a tip off officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA from the Biu Area command in Borno State, may have made a breakthrough in the war against hard drugs and narcotics.
Our correspondent reports that, about 150 kilograms of drugs, suspected to be cannabis sativa was intercepted by the officers at Borgu, a town in Shani Local Government: on the Borders of Borno and Adamawa states.

Details about the seizure were still sketchy but according to NDLEA, investigations are on going, and the suspects have made useful revelations on their roles in the drug deal.
