Niger Gov Condoles Nuj Over Members Death

Niger State Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has commiserated with the Niger State Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria union of Journalist,NUJ over the death of its member,Mr Matthew Jwuantu of the Standard newspaper based in jos.

The Governor in a condolence message, by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the death of the Journalist as painful.

He also extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, and the Nigeria Union of Journalists Niger State Council.

Governor Umaru Bago prayed God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest and comfort his family, professional colleagues and close associates.

Late Mathew Jwuantu was always on his road to Jos for the past one month while receiving treatment after every efforts by the chapel with the government to shoulder the medical responsibilities failed.

Late Mathew was in MINNA,Niger state practicing his profession as the correspondent of a Standard Newspaper based in Jos for the past ten years.
