“Nigerian Artist, MohBad, Passes Away at Age 27.”

Popular Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known by his stage name MohBad, has tragically passed away at the age of 27.

The distressing news was confirmed on Tuesday evening by music executive Ovie on his X page #Ovieo, with the lamenting post, “Confirmed. MohBad is dead. Sad, sad day.”

Fellow artist, Olamide Adedeji, widely known as Olamide, also expressed his grief on his X handle, penning a brief and poignant message: “Damn! Mohbad”. In a subsequent tweet, Olamide wrote, “This life.”

Amidst the shockwaves sent by the news, an older video featuring Bella Shmurda has made its way back online, where he discussed Mohbad’s struggles with mental health.

MohBad was recognized for a range of hits including KPK, Peace, Komajesun, Pariwo, and many others. At the moment, details surrounding the circumstances and location of his death remain unclear.
