Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has shared an emotional account of his recent visit to his colleague, Mr Ibu, who is currently undergoing treatment at Ever Care Hospital. In a Facebook post on November 13, 2023, Inojie revealed that he was initially hesitant to share details of the visit but proceeded after receiving approval from Mr Ibu.
Accompanied by Chinyere Wilfred, Jasmine, Mrs. Ibu, and a friend of Mrs. Ibu, Inojie walked into Mr Ibu’s private ward in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The atmosphere immediately brightened as Mr Ibu, despite his medical condition, engaged in a humorous exchange of banter with Inojie and the visitors.
Inojie marveled at Mr Ibu’s ability to make light of his situation and maintain a positive outlook, even cracking jokes about the leg that had been amputated. The nurses in the room joined in the laughter, creating a lighthearted atmosphere.
As the visit progressed, Inojie and Mr Ibu shared nostalgic moments, and the tone turned emotional. Both actors shed tears, expressing a deep connection and support for each other. Despite the emotional moment, Mr Ibu quickly reverted to his humorous self, playfully teasing Inojie for shedding tears.
The post concluded with Inojie extending goodwill and prayers to Mr Ibu for a speedy recovery. The actor’s heartfelt narrative provides a glimpse into the camaraderie and resilience within the Nollywood community during challenging times.
