“NSCDC busts 100+ illegal refineries, detains 200 suspects.”

During a recent conference in Abuja, Ahmed Audi, the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, shared the organization’s progress over the past two years. The NSCDC has successfully dismantled over 100 illicit apprehended 200 individuals linked to these operations.

Audi urged his team to amplify their efforts against oil theft and the vandalism of pipelines. He emphasized the importance of safeguarding the nation’s vital assets, ensuring farmers and their lands are protected to guarantee food supply, and bolstering the security of sectors like power, telecommunications, and transportation.

To counteract the rising wave of security challenges, Audi mentioned that the NSCDC is focusing on advanced training programs, acquiring state-of-the-art operational tools, and enhancing communication methods. He also stressed the significance of intelligence-driven operations to safeguard the nation’s assets and ensure its security. Audi concluded by pledging his continued commitment and support to the agency’s operatives.
