Nine-time African champions, Super Falcons, will face either Ethiopia or Chad in the second round of the qualifying series for the Paris 2024 Women’s Olympics football tournament.
The Paris 2024 Olympics will hold from July 26 to August 11 in Paris.
The Falcons, who missed the last three editions of the Olympics in 2012, 2016 and 2020 after losing out to Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Ivory Coast on those occasions, are seeded for the second round of the qualifying series, according to a statement from the Confederation of African Football.
Other seeded teams are South Africa, Morocco, Zambia, Cameroon, Tunisia and Botswana.
