Police Confirm Death of Suspected Lovers in Lagos Apartment

The Lagos State Police Command has officially confirmed the deaths of a man and a woman suspected to be lovers in an apartment in the Ojodu area of the state. The command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, verified the incident on Monday, stating that the sudden and unnatural death was reported to the Ojodu Police Division on Sunday at around 9:10 am.

The deceased were identified as Adebayo Adeseko, 30, and his partner, Sarah Adesanya, 36, whose lifeless bodies were discovered at their apartment located at No 8B, Gbete Street, off Shoyemi Bamaco Estate, Ojodu Berger, Lagos.

Upon receiving the report, a team of operatives from the station promptly visited the scene, documenting it through photographs, and evacuated the corpses to the morgue for autopsy. The police spokesperson mentioned that investigations into the circumstances of their death were ongoing.

It was revealed that the man, identified as a filmmaker, had a disagreement with his lover on Saturday, leading to a heated argument and ultimately a physical altercation that resulted in the woman’s death. Additionally, it was reported that the man allegedly stabbed himself and succumbed to his injuries upon discovering that the woman had passed away.

A photograph from the crime scene, provided by the police spokesperson, depicted the man lying in a pool of blood.
