President Bola Tinubu has conferred the prestigious national honor of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) upon every member of the Super Eagles who participated in the recently concluded African Cup of Nations.
In a ceremony held at the Council Chambers of the State House, President Tinubu expressed his appreciation for the dedication and hard work exhibited by the national football team throughout the tournament.
The event comes on the heels of the Super Eagles’ journey to the finals of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, where they showcased remarkable skill and determination, although falling short of clinching the championship title.
