Protesters against the recent suspension of Senator Ali Ndume stormed the National Assembly demanding that the suspension be reversed immediately.
The protesters in their hundreds marched to the National Assembly gate escorted by some security agents from the Unity Fountain where they had gathered as early as 7 am.
Waving placards with various inscriptions, the protesters were chanting solidarity songs demanding that their senator should be recalled without further delay.
They also held a banner bearing Ndume’s picture and their demands while they marched to the gate of the National Assembly where they disrupted human and vehicular movement.
It would be recalled that Ndume was suspended last week by the Senate over the allegations of forgery against the senate president, Bukola Saraki, and Kogi senator, Dino Melaye.
In some of the placards, the Protesters castigated the Senate President Bukola Saraki and the Senate.

As at the time of filling this report, no official of the National Assembly has come out to address the protesters.
