Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Taraba State, Hon. Danladi Baido has commiserated with the Aku Uka, the Takum Traditional Council and the Jukun race over the demise of Manu Tswenji Adi, the Tsoho of Takum.
In a condolence message to the traditional council, Baido said the passing on of the great monarch of 43 years on the throne is an end to a famous custodian of the Jukun culture and tradition in Takum.
Indeed “An iroko has fallen and the eagle has left a wide gap to fill”, Hon. Baido stressed.
In a statement by the governorship candidate’s Media Assistant, Anthony Maliki, Hon. Baido urged the Takum Traditional Council to take solace that Manu Tswenji Adi left behind a worthy legacy that would remain indelible in the lives of the lovely people of Takum people and indeed the whole of Tarabans.
Hon. Baido appealed to the Takum people to reflect deeply on their traditional values that must not be allowed to fade with the passage of the paramount ruler.
The SDP governorship candidate urged the Wukari Traditional Council, Takum Traditional Council, the Jukun race and the family of the monarch to be consoled that the monarch has left worthy landmarks to emulate.
