The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Umar, has been accused of submitting a Forged WAEC certificate to INEC, in which he claimed he sat for the exam at Sultan Abubakar College, Sokoto.
A classmate of Umar at the College who testified before the election tribunal in Kebbi, told the Tribunal that the Deputy Gov was expelled from the college and never sat for WAEC there.
Also, the principal of the school is said to who appeared before the tribunal also tendered evidence to show that Umar was rusticated from the school and did not write the WAEC exam there.
