Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Muhammed Idris, has re assured Nigerians,that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will overcome the current challenges confronting the country..
Muhammed Idris gave the assurance while speaking at the 2024 annual General conference of the Niger State chapter of the Nigeria Institute of public Relations at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre in Minna, yesterday.
The Minister who was represented by the Director General, Voice of Nigeria, Alhaji Jibrin Baba Ndace,said the Federal government is fully aware of the rising cost of staple foods in the Country.
According to the Minister, the government under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu will overcome present predicament,”we came well prepared as a Government and we would fulfill our promises.
“Inspite of some grudges and feelings in some quoters in the Country,the present administration is aware of the hardship in the Country.
Ndace said the government is aware of the rising cost of staple foods in our Markets, steps are already taken to ameliorate the situation ”
The President is working round the clock since he assumed office to ensure that it doesn’t lose track in fixing the economy, fighting insecurity and attracting Direct Foreign investments,Consolidating Nigeria Foreign policy at the World stage.
Part of the federal government initiatives by the present administration,the Minister disclosed that the Federal government has approved the resolution to increase primary Healthcare centres from 8300 to 17,600.
Also in his efforts to encourage productivity, the federal government has approved 9 billion Naira as group life assurance for Federal Civil Servants.
