Yobe Trains 127 Civil Servant on Leadership and effective service delivery

The Yobe State Acting Head of Service Alh. Hamidu M. Alhaji has declared open the training for over 127 civil servants on Leadership and Human Resource Management at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria.

In a statement Signed by the chief Information officer, office of the Head of service Alhassan Sule Mamudo, made available to newsmen in Damaturu.

According to the statement, the decision to partner with public service institute for the training was in fulfillment of the directives by Governor Mai Mala Buni towards ensuring a better successions plan in the State Civil Service.

He described that, the training remain key for effective implementation of government policies and programmes especially in the areas of Education, Healthcare delivery, wealth creation Transport, Energy, Commerce and industries, trade and investment and accountability among others.

He also Commended Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State for his stance on human capital development and reinvigorating the state civil service.

Hamidu charged the participants to scaling down of the knowledge learnt to their respective subordinates at MDAs.

He equally commended the Governor for continues sponsorship of the civil servants both within and outside the state over the years as Yobe civil servants have recently participated in Advanced Security Management Course III (ASMC III) at the National Institute for Security Studies, Bwari-Abuja.
