APC Shuts Down Jos For Presidential Campaign Flag Off

Jos the Plateau State capital is already beaming with life as supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, converge on the Tin City for the official flag of of their Presidential Campaign.
Our correspondents report that, security has also been beefed up in most strategic areas in the city, as part of measures to forestall any possible breach of the peace.
Hotels and entertainment centers are already smiling, as guests scramble to take up every available accomodations for various state contingents.
Jos township stadium, venue for the flag off is already wearing a carnival like look, as the venue committee for the event have decorated virtually every where, even as official vehicles of most dignitaries: including state Governors, senators and other APC stalwarts could be seen ever where around the city.
Drinking pubs, which hitherto recorded few customers are already alive, as visitors could be seen forming groups entertaining each other.
Reports indicate that, President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council and leader of the delegation has already flown in from London, where he had been for the past two weeks in preparation for the flag off.
Buhari is expected to fly into Jos by chopper tomorrow, while a private jet is already secured to convey the Presidential standard bearer, Asiwanu Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima, us already on ground against tomorrow morning.
Baring any eventuality the occasion takes off by 12:00am, according to the Director of communications of the Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga told journalists in Abuja that the flag off will also serve as APC’s show of strength, as every organ of the party are fully mobilized, even as Nigerians have demonstrated willingness to identify with the APC.
The party, he said has shrugged off all attempts to demarket her standard bearer and has put in place the most elaborate arrangement for the take off of its campaign nationwide.
