Real Madrid has officially announced the acquisition of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. The English international has signed a six-year contract with the Spanish club. The transfer fee for Bellingham exceeds 100 million euros ($108 million).

Last week, Dortmund confirmed that an agreement had been reached with Madrid for the 19-year-old midfielder. The deal is valued at 103 million euros, with the possibility of additional bonuses comprising up to 30 percent of the total fee.

Bellingham’s addition to the squad reflects Real Madrid’s ongoing efforts to revitalize their midfield. He joins the ranks alongside young French talents Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni, who are being groomed to succeed veterans Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.

In their statement, Real Madrid expressed their excitement about signing one of the most promising talents in world football. Bellingham’s arrival follows an impressive season in the Bundesliga, where he was recognized as the league’s best player for the 2022-23 season.”In addition, despite being just 19 years old, Bellingham has already established himself as a regular starter for the England national team.””In addition, despite being just 19 years old, Bellingham has already established himself as a regular starter for the England national team.””In addition, despite being just 19 years old, Bellingham has already established himself as a regular starter for the England national team.”

“Wearing your shirt has been a true honor, in both significant and lesser moments. Although I am excited about my upcoming journey, I will always cherish the experiences and memories created here. Once a Borussian, always a Borussian.”
