Yobe state Governor, Hon Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of seven new Senior Special Assistants (SSAs),
In a press statement signed and issue by Mamman Mohammed, the Director General Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, winch was made available to journalists in Damaturu the yobe state capital,
Those appointed were; Dr. Muhammad Sani, SSA on Education, Dr. Garba Iliya SSA on Humanitarian Affairs, Barrister Saleh Samanja SSA on Legal Matters.
Others include Gen. Abdulsalam Dahiru (rtd) SSA on Security, Dr. Mohammed Lawan Gana SSA on Health, Aji Yerima Bularafa SSA on Political Affairs and Abdullahi Bego
SSA on Wealth Creation respectively.
Statement added that the appointment of the Senior Special Assistants became necessary to avoid creating a vacuum in view of the strategic position of their respective offices”.
Our Correspondent learnt that this appointments become an hours following the dissolution of the State Executive Council.
