Ganduje asks for prayers for smooth handover to opponents

Outgoing Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has requested the citizens, particularly the Imams of Jumu’at Mosques, to pray for a smooth and peaceful transition of power to the incoming administration. Although Ganduje’s party’s candidate lost in the recent governorship election to the candidate of a rival party, he emphasizes the importance of conducting politics without bitterness. Through the state’s commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Malam Muhammad Garba, Ganduje seeks prayers for a seamless handover and stresses the need to consolidate the administration’s efforts in promoting peace. The commissioner commends the people of the state for their support, which has facilitated the successful implementation of notable development programs.
