Chairman Transition Council of Hawul Local Government, Inuwa Bwala has called for synergy and greater religious tolerance amongst Muslims and Christians in Hawul.
Mr Bwala while receiving in audience members of the JNI in Hawul said, the secret of peaceful coexistence is in tolerating each other and working together to ensure love and affection amongst adherents of different faiths and amongst people of diverse ethnic entities.
He commended members of the JNI for being harbingers of peace and unity amongst Muslims, even as they are also agents of orderliness in the absence of conventional security operatives.
According to the Chairman, the relative peace across Hawul is a testimony of the harmonious living amongst adherents of all religions.
While announcing a donation of a motor cycle to the secretariat of the JNI to facilitate running of errands and monitoring, Mr Bwala also charged members to always avail his office with information on any likely breach of the peace, fi
