Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, famously known as Evans, the convicted billionaire kidnapper facing charges of attempted murder, has made a move towards resolving his legal matters through a plea bargain. Alongside his co-defendant Joseph Emeka, who faces charges of murder and attempted kidnapping, Evans has expressed interest in pursuing this alternative route.

During a session at the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja presided over by Justice Adenike Coker, the state prosecution counsel, Mr. Yusuf Sule, disclosed the development to the court. He stated that while the case was scheduled for re-arraignment, the defendant had indicated a desire for a plea bargain.

Mr. Sule further informed the court that the plea bargain terms are currently under review by the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Mr. Lawal Pedro (SAN), indicating a significant step forward in the legal proceedings.
