Court rejects PDP’s claims of forgery and conviction concerning Tinubu.

The Presidential Election Tribunal has cleared President Bola Tinubu of forgery and conviction accusations made by the Peoples Democratic Party and its 2023 contender, Atiku Abubakar.

In their judgment, the court noted that while the petitioners alleged Tinubu didn’t fulfill certain constitutional prerequisites to run for office, they failed to specify these requirements.

Panel member Moses Ugo further dismissed sections of the petition that blamed Kogi State Governor and Friday Adejo, a Local Government Chairman from Kogi, for election misconduct, as they were not included as parties in the complaint.
