Etsu Patigi’s Reign Was Historic-Waziri Gobiri

The Waziri Hausa, Alhaji Yakubu Gobir has described the reign of the late Etsu Patigi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Chatta Umar as historic not only in Patigi Emirate, but also in Kwara State and the entire country.

In a condolence message from his media office, Waziri Gobir said the Emir lived a fulfilled life as he combined cultural, spiritual, fairness with the carriage of a unique royal charisma.

The Waziri Hausa, who is a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), noted that his demise would create a big vacuum due to the tremendous role he played which commanded the respect of all and sundry irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations.

Alhaji Gobir added that for most parts of his life as an Emir, he was a strong pillar and supporter of community development and lived a worthy life full of benevolence, frankness and integrity.

According to him, his grace, aura and candour are evident in the spirit of brotherliness, unity and progress the good people of Patigi enjoy today .

The Waziri Hausa stated further that the fruitful life of the late Etsu Patigi became a model for most traditional rulers as well as other Nigerians who are aspiring to become exemplary leaders.

Alhaji Gobir who commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, and the Patigi Emirate Council on behalf of the Gobir Organisation prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljanat firdous and his family the fortitude to carry on with a peaceful life after his demise.
