Several candidates who ran in the recently concluded 2023 presidential election are urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider their inclusion in his government.

Ambassador Felix Osakwe, the presidential candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), spoke on behalf of the Forum of Concerned Presidential Candidates during their visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, in Abuja.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the group of presidential candidates comprises individuals from various parties, including the Action Peoples Party (APP), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and Action Democratic Party (ADP), among others.

“Our forum is dedicated to promoting peace and development in Nigeria. It’s essential to convey to the president that not all presidential candidates opposed his victory,” Osakwe stated.

Osakwe clarified that their meeting with Ganduje aimed to express support for his appointment and the Tinubu-led administration. Furthermore, the group anticipates that the APC chairman will facilitate a meeting with Tinubu to share their perspectives.

In response, Ganduje assured the forum that he would communicate their views to the president.
