Former Senator Shehu Sani defends Bola Tinubu, shifts blame for Zamfara massacre to former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Shehu Sani, the former Senator representing Kaduna Central, has absolved Bola Tinubu of responsibility for the killings in Zamfara State. Instead, Sani pointed to the legacy of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who left behind a country plagued by insecurity despite substantial defense expenditures.

Taking to Twitter, Sani expressed his distress over the distressing video footage of the recent atrocities in Zamfara, emphasizing that such evil images should not be shared by any sane individual.

In his tweet, Sani asserted, “For now, it’s not Tinubu’s failure; it’s Buhari’s legacy. He claimed to have left Nigeria safer than he found it, but this is the result after billions of dollars spent on defense. And they expect us to sing his praises because his cattle have not multiplied.”

Furthermore, Sani responded to the reduction in workdays for civil servants in Kwara and Edo States following the removal of fuel subsidy. He expressed anticipation for a governor who would go a step further and instruct the state’s workers not to come to work at all, suggesting that such a governor would set a new record surpassing the actions of both Kwara and Edo governors.

In response to the reduction in workdays for civil servants in Kwara and Edo States, Shehu Sani took to Twitter and expressed his anticipation for a governor who would break records by instructing the workers not to come to work at all. In Kwara, civil servants are scheduled to work three days a week, while in Edo, it has been reduced to two days a week. Sani’s remark highlights his expectation for a governor who would take even bolder action regarding workdays for civil servants.
