How Man 53 Excreted 92 Wraps Of Cocaine In Ndlea Custody

In a seeming renewed clampdown in drug peddlers by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, a 53 year old man and father of two, Okolie Nwabueze has excreted 92 wraps of substances, suspected to be cocaine, while under detention at a facility of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, in Abuja.
Femi Babafemi, spokesman of the agency explained in a statement to newsmen that, the suspect was arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, on his arrival on a Quatar Airline from Brazil, enroute Doha.
According to the statement, the suspect was kept in custody under observations, following which he excreted the substances on the third day, while still in custody.
The suspect who claims to come from Enugu state, confessed that, he left Nigeria for Mozambique, sometime in 2004, before relocating to Brazil in 2017, where he indulged in the act.
This is coming just as another suspect, Aliyu Kwasare was nabbed with a new psychoactive substances known as “karkakuskura”, at the Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano, while attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia, according to Babafemi.
The suspect who claims to be a citizen of Sokoto State, was arrested during an outward clearance of passengers on an Ethiopian Airlines in September 5, he further explained. The arrests he said was effected with the collaboration of the Nigerian Customs Service, stressing that, there were several other arrests, including that of a freight agent, Aliyu, who was trying to ferry a consignment of cannabis substances concealed in packs of body lotion.
The agency also arrested millions of doses of tramadol capsules concealed amongst non prohibited drugs being prepared for shipment.
