Excitement filled the air on Monday, February 12, as Joeboy, the talented Nigerian artist, teased his fans with a glimpse of his upcoming single on social media. Titled ‘Osadebe,’ the track is scheduled for release on Friday, February 16, promising to captivate listeners with its unique sound and lyrical depth.
Having garnered widespread acclaim under Mr. Eazi’s Empawa label, Joeboy achieved remarkable commercial success, with two albums and two EPs released during his nearly six-year tenure with the label. His sophomore album, ‘Body & Soul,’ followed by the EP ‘Body, Soul, and Spirit’ in 2023, showcased his versatility and musical prowess, solidifying his position as a rising star in the industry.
However, as the new year dawned in 2024, Joeboy made a significant announcement, revealing his decision to part ways with Empawa. In a bold move, he announced the establishment of his imprint, named Young Legend, and unveiled a partnership with the esteemed international music label, Warner Music.
