Peter Okoye, the award-winning singer known as Mr. P, has sent a heartfelt appeal to his wife, Lola Omotayo Okoye, on the occasion of her birthday.
Taking to his Instagram page, Peter shared a photo of the birthday celebrant and expressed his admiration for her unwavering dedication to their children and him.
In his heartfelt message, he urged her to allow them to reciprocate by giving her their very best on her special day.
“You will never stop giving all of your best to our kids and me. On your birthday, let us give our best to you! Happy birthday, my dear wife,” Peter lovingly wrote.
As of the time of writing, Lola Omotayo had not posted anything about her birthday on her social media accounts. A check on her Instagram page revealed that she was last active seven days ago when she shared a clip of herself at a Beyonce concert.
Peter Okoye had celebrated Lola last year when she turned 50, likening her to a fine wine that only gets better with time. It was on that occasion that Lola publicly revealed her age for the first time.
In a heartfelt tribute, Peter praised her for maturing into an even more beautiful person and referred to her as his “sweet intoxication.”
In another news, Mr. P had responded to the criticism he received for passionately kissing a female fan during a performance. The video of the kiss had caused quite a stir on social media, with many people questioning his actions considering his marital status. In response, Peter defended his actions, stating that as an artist, he is entitled to express himself on stage, and his family had no complaints about it.
