The author of a book on International Reporting Standard “IFRS Relief” Mr. Shuaib Adeadebayo has said that the content of the book will inspire young Accountants to carry out their Accounting jobs effectively.
Speaking at the launch of the book at the Royal Tropicana Hotel, Abuja, Adeadebayo said the book will also assist accounting professionals in their practices.
“The 760-page book is a one-stop shop for all accounting requirement relating to financial and corporate reporting”, he declared.
At the event witnessed by many accounting experts and professionals the book reviewer, Mr. Chimeka Ezeribe of Topnotch Learning Centre commended the effort of the author at simplifying financial and corporate reporting.
The recommendation of the book, he said, is based on the quality of work put in and the pedigree of the author which he described as almost impeccable.
The book was also adjudged by many experts and professionals as vital tool for accounting practices. This statement was also emphasised by the Guest Speaker, Mr. Oluwafunminiyi Akande (FCA), Vice Chairman ICAN District, Abuja.
The author has worked as accounting specialist at top level positions in both profit and non-profit sectors; he has to his credit tutored over 2500 students to ICAN/ACCA certification, and currently heads the Finance and Administration department of a grant making organisation.
