By milcah Tanimu

Cyril Ndifon, the suspended Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar, who is facing trial on allegations of sexual harassment, has stated that he had a consensual relationship with a diploma graduate identified as TKJ. Ndifon is accused of sexually harassing TKJ, who is also the star witness for the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). The professor’s lawyer filed a no-case submission, urging the court to discharge and acquit him, arguing that the series of chats between Ndifon and TKJ suggested a consensual relationship. The adoption of written addresses on the no-case submission is scheduled for February 27, 2024.
